For over 40 years, TRANSFORMERS has been thrilling fans all over the world with the legendary battle between Autobots and Decepticons. What once began as a toy line quickly developed into a global cult phenomenon with successful animated series, comics, cinema films and a huge fan base spanning generations. Characters such as Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and Soundwave have long since become pop culture icons.
With TRANSFORMERS: More Than Meets the Eye, Stern Pinball is now bringing this legendary universe to the playing field as a spectacular pinball machine. Inspired by the original animated series from the 80s, the pinball machine combines a nostalgic TRANSFORMERS feeling with state-of-the-art technology, exciting mechanics and action-packed gameplay. Pinball players can expect an immersive journey full of epic battles, legendary sounds and iconic moments from the world of the Autobots and Decepticons.
Three versions – Pro, Premium and Limited Edition
The new Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye pinball machine is available in three versions – typical for Stern Pinball: Pro, Premium and a Limited Edition (LE) limited to 750 pieces worldwide. The Pro version already offers the full gameplay experience with action-packed mission objectives, characters and features centred around the Transformers cosmos. The Premium version expands the gaming experience with additional mechanical and interactive elements on the playing field, while the Limited Edition delights with exclusive artwork details, special lighting effects and high-quality collector’s features.

Expression Lighting System™
All cases (Pro, Premium and Limited Edition) of the Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye Pinball are fully compatible with the Expression Lighting System™ (intelligent full-spectrum RGB LEDs) and the Speaker Expression Lighting System.
In the Limited Edition, in the exclusive Transformers design, the complete lighting system including speaker lighting is already integrated ex works. For the Pro and Premium models, these interactive RGB systems can be retrofitted as official Spike 3 accessories. They enhance the gameplay with spectacular, perfectly synchronised Transformers lighting effects.
Stern Insider Connected™ – Features at a glance
With the new Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye pinball machine, Stern Pinball takes the Insider Connected™ system to a new level. The pinball machine combines classic pinball gameplay with online features, personal progress and exclusive challenges.
Cyber Coin Wallet: During the game you collect digital Cyber Coins directly via your Insider Connected profile. You can use this in-game currency to unlock special challenges, additional features and exclusive content.
Prime Training Mode: The integrated “Prime Training” mode helps you to improve your skills in a targeted manner. Here, the Autobots take you by the hand virtually and guide you step by step through special tasks. You can practise important shots, practise ball control and learn playing techniques directly on the pinball machine.
Real-time duels (head-to-head): A feature that many fans have been waiting for a long time. Two players can compete against each other simultaneously in split pinball style in real time. In the simultaneous real-time mode, the two players usually share the pinball fingers – one player controls the left side, the other the right side in the so-called “split pinball” style.
Progress, Highscores & Achievements: Your personal game progress is saved online – including highscores, worldwide leaderboards and unlockable achievements based on the original Transformers animated series from 1984.
LE Owner’s Badge: Owners of the Limited Edition, limited to 750 pieces worldwide, will receive an exclusive digital LE badge for their Insider Connected profile after registration.
