King Kong has been a true pop culture icon since his first appearance in 1932 – known from films, series, books, comics, games and much more. Now Stern Pinball brings the legend to life in a whole new way: with an action-packed pinball experience that creatively reinterprets the original King Kong story.

Experience a completely new type of gameplay with an original designed playing field and legendary mechanics – developed by the creative team behind Stern hits like Godzilla, JAWS and Jurassic Park. At the centre: a detailed, animatronic King Kong who reacts to your game actions – with swinging arms, a twisting torso and plenty of anger in his belly. Hit the Gong target to summon him – but be careful, if you lure the balls into the New York train carriage, Kong will go completely crazy and start the King Kong Multiball.

Even more challenges await you on Terror Island: Take on a giant spider in “The Pit”, which catches your ball with magnetic force. Fly over the breathtaking helix-shaped biplane ramp and discover secret paths through rivers, tree trunks and jungles.

Four pinball fingers, lots of features and surprises: Discover the hidden standup target behind the Lost Temple drop targets, aim for the Kong Cave scoop with vertical kickback, and survive the punch-back that shoots the ball back at you full broadside!

The game features brand new animations, original music, sound effects and voiceovers – including cult comedian Brian “Q” Quinn from Impractical Jokers as well as Rick Zieff, Peter Mackenzie and Scott Mosenson. The ingenious graphics were created by pinball icons Kevin O’Connor, Greg Freres and Zombie Yeti.

With the tried and tested Insider Connected™. On the platform, you can network with other players worldwide, track your progress, collect achievements and regularly experience new content.

The Limited Edition is limited to just 932 copies worldwide – a tribute to the year of its creation, 1932, and includes: King Kong illuminated speakers, elegant mirror backglass, foil decals with hand-drawn graphics, exclusive Art Deco pinball armor, autographs from the designers, improved sound, anti-reflective glass, shaker motor, a numbered plate, certificate and a digital LE badge in the Insider Connected profile.

“King Kong has been a staple of pop culture for decades – and now we’re bringing his full force to an all-new pinball format,” says Stern CEO Seth Davis.

“Face the eighth wonder of the world – if you dare.”
