Fallout Limited Edition Stern Pinball Machine

The play centres on Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul and Maximus. Players explore various game modes, battle enemies from the Wasteland, and develop their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats, hack terminals with the Pip-Boy and venture into Vault 111.

A particular highlight of the Premium Edition is the lower Vault Mini Playfield with Magna-Flip™. Here, the Vault-Tec experiments become your own play area, and the dark underbelly of the supposedly safe Vaults becomes part of the game.

The multi-position Fat Man Pinball Launcher. Mini-nukes are introduced into the game via the launcher. With the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System (V.A.T.S.) , targets can be automatically locked on. The upper part of the screen transforms into an interactive shooting gallery.

The Deathclaw Bash Toy in the Premium Edition features an additional kickback function and is therefore directly integrated into the gameplay.

Another eye-catching feature is the vertically moving Nuka-Cola Bottle Cap Spinner. The spinner moves up and down during gameplay, allowing players to collect valuable bottle caps. Its design is modelled on a real Nuka-Cola bottle cap.

The ‘Mutated’ Inverted Upper Flipper. The inverted upper flipper is a real standout feature and, according to Stern, a design that hasn’t been used in pinball for more than 75 years.

The Vault Blast Door is integrated into the playfield as a mechanical element. The vault door is not merely decorative; it is actively incorporated into the gameplay. Depending on how the game progresses, the door opens and closes, unlocking new gameplay possibilities and targets or blocking access again.

The Fallout Limited Edition is the most exclusive version of the new Stern Pinball and is available worldwide on 770 machines worldwide. The number is a reference to ‘The Great War’ in the year 2077 from the Fallout storyline.

Each machine will feature a sequentially numbered limited-edition plaque as well as a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Gary Stern, Chairman of Stern Pinball, and Seth Davis, President & CEO of Stern Pinball. In addition, each Limited Edition is personally signed by the game designer Keith Elwin.

Visually, too, the LE stands out clearly. The full-colour, mirrored backglass features the iconic Vault Boy as the Vault-Tec mascot. It also features specially designed cabinet decals with Vault-Tec motifs.

The Cabinet Expression Lighting System™ with intelligently controlled RGB LEDs. The lighting reacts to the in-game action and adjusts its colours and effects accordingly.

The speaker system is also given centre stage in the Limited Edition. The Interactive Speaker Expression Lighting System uses laser-cut Vault-Tec motifs and synchronised lighting effects to match the game.

For even better sound, the LE also features an upgraded speaker system with a 3-channel amplifier and an additional tweeter.

The package also includes anti-reflective playfield glass and a shaker motor.

The Limited Edition is rounded off by numerous special Vault-Tec details, such as a yellow powder coating.

The original soundtrack and sound effects from Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas.

About Stern Insider Connected , players can customise their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats across multiple games. Any ‘junk’ collected from the Wasteland is also recorded and becomes part of your personal game progress.
