In Fallout Pinball, players are plunged straight into the world of the series. Depending on the game mode, the focus is on Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul or Maximus. There are a variety of side modes to enjoy, encounters with Wasteland inhabitants, and the chance to further develop your own S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats. You can also use the Pip-Boy to hack terminals before finally heading to Vault 111.
For the game’s development, Stern was able to work directly with the producers at Kilter Films and Bethesda Game Studios. The game combines scenes from the first and second series of the Amazon TV series with elements from the Fallout video games. It also features original voice recordings by Johnny Pemberton, who plays Thaddeus in the series.

Pip-Boy LCD
A particular highlight is the fully interactive Pip-Boy LCD screen on the pitch. Developed in collaboration with The Wand Company, it displays up-to-date information and instructions directly on the pitch during the match.
With the Up and Down Nuka-Cola Bottle Cap Spinner, Stern presents a genuine innovation in pinball. The vertically moving spinner travels up and down during play and actively influences the game. In the process, valuable bottle caps can be collected. Visually, the target is modelled on an original Nuka-Cola bottle cap and fits perfectly into the Fallout universe.
Another special feature is the ‘Mutated’ Inverted Upper Flipper Finger. According to Stern, this inverted upper flipper is a design that hasn’t been used in a pinball machine for over 75 years and opens up completely new gameplay possibilities in the upper playfield area.
The intricately designed Deathclaw Bash Toy provides just the right amount of terror in the Wasteland. In the Premium and Limited Edition models, it also features a kickback function, which makes gameplay even more dynamic.
Fallout also remains true to its role-playing roots in the digital realm. Via Stern Insider Connected, players can track their S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats permanently across multiple games. At the same time, collected loot is also documented: the typical Fallout junk that players gather on their journey through the Wasteland becomes part of their personal game progress.
The authentic atmosphere is further enhanced by the original soundtrack and numerous sound effects from the popular Bethesda titles Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Fallout: New Vegas.

Exclusive to the Premium & Limited Edition
The Premium and Limited Edition models also feature a special lower Vault Mini Playfield with the Magna-Flip™. Here, players are immersed even deeper into the world of Vault-Tec and experience the dark underbelly of the infamous social experiments conducted within the Vaults.
Also exclusive to these models is the multi-directional Fat Man Pinball Launcher. This fires mini-nukes onto the playfield, whilst the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System (V.A.T.S.) takes over target acquisition and locks onto enemies. The upper playing area becomes an interactive shooting gallery, where precise hits can determine the course of the game.
Other features include the mechanical vault door of Vault 33, which opens in-game and grants players access to previously unknown underground areas.
